How simple it’s to overlook the world
When I’m the flesh, that physique untoward,
The sunshine that bleeds by means of crinkling blinds,
Illusions imagined, sporting sheep’s cover,
I adopted the trail much less traveled by scribes,
Solely to seek out that this fashion was unripe,
Main me now to a better-off dream,
Since life as is now misplaced all its esteem,
Observe me softly and watch the place you step,
These grounds, they appear protected when nothing is left,
However I’ve been burned — so harshly by you,
Discover me the divine, a sentence or two,
With ink and rage — I’ll keep true to the phrase,
How simple it was to overlook the world.
